Due to the high traffic of the Volcarren Guards departing from Srung, the city has a much higher population that its remote location would suggest.

Economic Overview

Situated at the mouth of a river, Srung is idealy placed to trade with the Lower Provinces – mostly farms and obscure villages – although Taeleron also ships valuable wood to Srung, without which they could not build their ships.

As a major departure point for the Volcarren Guards, Srung sees a lot of traffic, and many soldiers have their families in or near the city, contributing to its high population, despite its remote location. This constant traffic ensures that Srung remains wealthy and well-fortified.

Notable Sources – Income and Expenses

Srung is a major Imperial port for the Empire’s ventures into the southern seas. However, its fleets are small, and consist mostly of trading vessels, and a few exploratory small crafts.
